Description: Perths 63 Tay Street is regularly billed as one of Scotlands top restaurants. Set in a typical imposing grey stone building, the small but perfectly formed dining room is pure elegance from soaring ceilings to polished wood floors. The menu is made up of British classics given a contemporary twist, so youll find your Aberdeen Angus served with an oxtail sauce and your Inverurie lamb rack, neck and shank may be served with traditional neeps, but youll also find chorizo mash on your plate. The use of fresh, local ingredients and fine produce sourced from further afield means that every dish promises to delight those tastebuds.

For those who, like us, enjoy fine dining, this is the ideal place. The restaurant is tastfully decorated and has amazing views. Service was very good and the food was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely delicious.

Had a superb meal at 63 Tay Street. My wife and our friend June had the chef's taster which they thoroughly enjoyed, and I had a delicious steak. Great food, great service, discrete and efficient. If you want a thoroughly good meal in nice surroundings with a view of Perth city centre and the river choose this restaurant.

Dined at 63 a few times in the past but I thought it was even better on this occasion. Tasty, well cooked food at a reasonable price and beautifully presented .Certainly one of the better restaurants in perth and I will be visiting again!

During our stay at nearby Dunkeld, my wife and I drove down to Perth to have lunch at 63 Tay Street. As serious meat lovers, we both had the Fillet Steak and must say that this was the best we have ever tasted. Both texture and flavour were spot on and the steaks were cooked to perfection, served with a... More

A lovely place to eat in a wonderful setting. Great to enjoy the excellent evening meal we had in a relaxed and well run restaurant. Staff very attentive but not intrusive letting us enjoy a long awaited catch up. We will definately return probably together and with other people. Already looking forward to my next visit!

We had a lunch here today and Graham Pallisters food never fails to impress - there are flavours in his dishes that we just can't name but are always delicious and something to look forward to - easily up there with whatever Edinburgh can offer. We can't think of a better way to spend a relaxing lunch - or even... More

We would consider ourselves to be regulars here after being recommend some time ago. It is a truly wonderful place to eat with faultless food and service. They can justifiably be proud of the awards they have won. Good value lunch and pre theatre menus for quick visits or a la carte or tasting menus to saver and enjoy of... More

The food was well prepared, looked and tasted great. We had one in our party who only eats fish (not meat) the owner/chef did cater for this at short notice (however I would have expected this as is it not so difficult to cater for a fish eater) but in any event we did appreciate this. The wine selection is... More

Lunched with my wife at 63 Tay Street for the first time. Attentive service in contemporary surroundings looking over the River Tay and Kinnoull Hill beyond. Good menu choice and comprehensive wine list. Food expertly prepared using seasonal produce and beautifully presented. Only one very minor niggle - we felt the background music was more appropriate for an elevator, but... More
