Visited here as a family. It was quite quiet considering it was a Saturday night. We were given complimentary poppadoms and spiced onions as soon as we sat down. We then had great mains including Chicken Tikka (sizzler), Chicken Tikka Karahi and Chicken Rogan Josh. Good portions and very tasty. We all had rice (though 2 between 3 would have... More

We found out about this restaurant through trip advisor, and we are glad we did, the decor was great, nice and welcoming with hints of Indian traditional decor. The food was lovely and freshly cooked, the use of herbs on the garlic naan was just perfect! The coffee was nice, which is not normally the case in some Indian restaurants.... More

Myself and my other half went here at the start of May just for a spontaneous visit. We walked in were kindly greeted and promptly taken to our table. On looking around, I loved the decor, very modern with a slight hint of indian with the pictures. The music played was great - a real mix of everything and real... More

Looks better inside that out so don't be put off by the exterior! There was a crowd of us and the friendly staff prepared two platters which were very well received by our group. Then ... nothing. We waited and we waited. The restaurant wasn't that busy but after 45 mins when we chased down our main courses, we were told... More

I visited this restaurant before meeting friends and going to see Raith Rovers at Firhill. My evening started well, with a lovely early meal. I was first given a complimentary spicy onions with popadom, then I ordered the vegetable pakora followed by Chicken Dhansaak with pilau rice and a paratha. All came freshly cooked and piping hot. This was served... More

Came out of the SECC looking for anything to eat as we were so hungry. We were so lucky to stumble on this great restaurant. We thought we had eaten at the best Indian in Glasgow before eating here! Although it was late - after 11pm - the service was impeccable with all staff smiling and friendly. The food was... More

Tucked away on North Street, just slightly off the beaten city centre track, Punjabi offers excellent food at reasonable prices with great service. The quality of food and flavours provided are awesome. With well spaced out seating, friendly, efficient service and a mood lifitng 70's disco soundtrack, this place is understated but delivers a punch. Would recommend and will definitley... More
