The tastiest restaurant meal I have eaten in a long time. Excellent menu, reasonably priced. Friendly staff. What more can you ask for?

What a great find Café Source turned out to be! Reception at our hotel hadn't heard of it so we didn't know what to expect but they asked us to report back which we did with pleasure. The restaurant is in a lovely location in the crypt of St Andrews in the Square church, which added to the enjoyment of...

We visited on Saturday 27th April family of 6 and had the lovliest evening with wonderful food served by staff who could not have been more attentive and frinedly.
The locally sourced food was cooked to perfection and we were hard pushed to choose what to have as my daughter who is vegetarian and very fussy was completely bowled over...

Visited cafe source for a friends birthday where last Friday of each month they have entertainment....food was really good, a little cramped, but that maybe due to the band being quite special and busier than normal. Would recommend for something different.
We had the 2 course special and there was lots to choose from and at a very reasonable price. Could not fault the food was of a high standard and well presented. We had 2 female servers for our table on our visit one with glasses was very lovely and chatty the other shorter one was not engaging and seemed...

Recently visited with my wife for lunch. Ate from the pre-theatre menu (booked through 5pm) with a couple of complimentary glasses of wine.

Starters of haggis pakora & crispy goats cheese risotto balls were yummy but the mains were a little flat;...

If you don't mind artificial light, as it is in the basement of St Andrew's Church, this is a good place to eat. The menu was quite varied, the food is good and the portions are adequate. The soup was particularly good. We will definitely return.
Have been at Cafe Source many times before but was not impressed by my meal this time, my friend and I meet every Saturday try out different restaurants and because we were down this end of the city we thought we would give it a go again . Sorry will not be rushing back in a hurry.also would like to...

During a weekend away in Glasgow, we chose to eat at cafe source after seeing the good reviews on trip advisor. We weren't disappointed. Tasty food, great atmosphere and good value. The burgers are particularly highly recommended!
