Stumbled across this place while walking around. Checked the reviews on trip advisorn and all was good. Definitely worth a visit. The starters are huge and really fill you up. Food is really tasty and is definitely worth a visit.

I was going to take my family to Illegal Jacks for Tex Mex but then I read the reviews here and decided to find another Mexican restaurant in Edinburgh.
I was glad we went to Mariarchi. Nice atmosphere, good service and really tasty food.
Just missed out on the fifth star for 3 reasons:

after a busy day went for something different and accidentally found this restaurant , must say really good service and food. really impressed with the dips, mostly the garlic one. will return again. Note:- dont forget to try NACHOS really yummy.

Arrived in edinburgh not knowing what to expect and was recommended this Mexican restaurant by our very helpful lady taxi driver . Food was excellent and Matthew the owner really looked after us. Definitely worth a visit.

We had an early dinner here. The food and service were very good. We were given complimentary nachos and salsa to enjoy with our margaritas. Highly recommended, we had nachos to share 4 ways, a variety of mains, followed by tequila coffees. Good service too and a friendly atmosphere

Had the 12-5 lunch deal at £10 for 2 courses and was very happy with it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Could have been more marinade on the chicken.

We visited Mariachi after a successful Scotland rugby match in November 2012. We were glad to have made our reservation as it was very busy when we arrived.
