This indian restaurant is situated a bit from the center of Edinburgh so even on a saturday night it was easy to get a table. The food was excellent and the service fast. Their mango Lashy was very good. I had the Achari Lamb and my wife had the Madras chicken - both dishes where excellent and tasty. Most likely a... More

First Indian meal. Good advice by friendly waiter who took al the time we needed to explain the menu. We all loved our curries and sweets. To bad we live to far away to become regulars.

A member of staff at the local Travelodge recommended the Delhi Diner to us during a recent stay. The food was nice and the members of staff provided good customer service. I wouldn't say it was the best curry I've ever had, but we did enjoy it. There was 4 of us dining and the cost came to around £20... More

Served up already cooked tandori chicken as chicken balti! Very poor! You could see the skewer holes and the red tandori colouring on the meat which was chewy!

Had a takeaway here 10 years ago and decided after all the good reviews to give them a try again ........ bad move. I ordered some pakora which tasted chewy and stale and was full of grease. The lamb dish that I had was so chewy and hard to cut. Really awful meal. Back to the wonderful Kismot. Such a... More

What a great change of pace and atmosphere. The service was really good and they were very helpful in making meal choices. The food was very flavourful with a wide wide range from mild to spicy. Yummy.

This restaurant was great. The service was attentive and the food was wonderful. The chicken tikka masala isn't traditional, so be prepared for that. The sauce is a bit different. The portions are generous. My only complaint is that the restaurant isn't crowded enough! We were there on a Friday night and only 3-4 tables were taken. More people should... More

The service was outstanding and the food was better than outstanding. Lovely atmosphere, would definitely recommend it. It's worth the 200 mile trip and will come back again next time we are in Edinburgh.
