Ate here last week in Shu Bar, the downstairs restaurant. Service was efficient and prompt. Food was excellent. My only criticism was the music being too loud - at times I struggled to hear the conversation at the table. Will go back to Shu, but will stick to the main restaurant upstairs.

I went to Shu for a Christmas dinner and have to say it was amazing! I had the duck as a starter which was beautiful along with a lovely turkey and cranberry main and then a fruit salad for dessert. Would highly recommend Shu for a company event or for family special occasion. Lovely wee restaruant that rem The staff... More

We went to Shu late but was given a table for 3, I cannot fault the service which was excellent. The food was excellent, my friend had a dessert to and said this delicious. I would make an effort to return when in Belfast again.

Just back from another fantastic meal at shu. Service is very efficient and friendly - willing to explain any dishes with great knowledge. Food is of an extremely high standard, and incredibly more-ish especially the champ! Can't wait to return! Best restaurant in belfast.

We recently went to Shu as part of a Facebook offer which gave us two courses for two with a bottle of wine for £55. Unlike a previous reviewer, we thought this was fantastic value and the food was so good, we couldn't resist trying dessert too to see if it lived up to the quality of the previous courses.... More

Visited this week for a business meal and very impressed with the quality of the food and attention to detail, this is a special occassion venue as it is expensive but a worthwhile experience. The staff were attentive and knowledgable about the disheson offer, I would probably go back again.

I just love Shu. The food is first class, never fails to delight us. The risottos , whatever the flavour, are amazingly tasty. I always want more! Blade of beef simply melts in the mouth and is delicious. All the dishes burst with flavour. My first choice of Belfast restaurants.

We had the meal deal - £55 for 2 including a bottle of wine. You can have a starter and a main course but not a main course and dessert. The risotto starter was salty. The coley had a green garnish which was completely baked onto the plate. By the time we added on sides it was not really a... More

My family and I are regulars at Shu. We just keep going back again and again and we are never disappointed! I visited recently for my birthday and the food was fantastic as always. I can particularly recommend the pork belly and the pigeon! Both incredible. The selection of desserts is also to die for, with the chocolate fondant being... More
