I have had various types of food here, but most times its just a coffee now, although the food is nice, I feel that it can be slightly over priced especially when I comes to their Ulster Fry, really over priced fry, I know the place if lovely inside and the atmosphere is nice but you are paying a bit... We had breakfast here following a big night out in Belfast as we'd heard so many good things about the Harlem Cafe. We did enjoy our food, the coffee in particular was excellent but I did feel that for the price (£6.95) it was a little overpriced for what we actually got. I know its Belfast and you're paying city... More

The restaurant is a mix and match of old furniture which although cramped in places works well to create a nice atmosphere.Food however is a different issue. Sandwiches, paninis,a couple of specials on the board and a dissapointing dessert menu does not make much of an impression.I had the burger which turned out to be two small burgers and frozen chips... Central cafe beside the ulster hall full of eclectic, comfortable furniture that you sense had an interesting past. One table has old fashioned horsehair chairs - fun to watch adults surreptitiously bouncing gently :) The food is above average deli and there are always good specials. Owner often there adding glamour and checking that staff and customers are happy.

Had a very nice (if a bit overpriced) breakfast - all day fry, orange juice and tea came to 20+ pounds... Very nicely decorated and good staff, helpful and smiley.

Staff courteous and helpful, menu reasonable variety and well-presented, tasty food. Decor interesting and eclectic, with range of vintage and unusual objects. Mixed family group with some older / infirm guests, accommodated without any fuss.

Been here a few times for brunch and I love it more each time. The staff are fab, welcoming, efficient and friendly, the brunch menu is standard breakfast fare but is done really well, I had the French toast and thick cut bacon last time and it was perfect. Keep up the good work.

I always enjoy Harlem .....but......my last visit made me feel a little forgotten about. Scrambled eggs and bacon took a long time to come (enough time to finish a large coffee and start looking around the room) and my second Americano that was ordered on the arrival of my meal was completely forgotten about. Now I do realise there are... More

Three of us celebrated my wife's 60th birthday by dining at Harlem on Sat 27th Apr. I have to say we couldn't have chosen better. The ambience in the place was just right allowing for just a little bit of banter with people at adjacent tables and with the staff who were just great throughout. There was very entertaining live... Nice quirky interior, real nice mix of customers, helpful staff, & nice atmosphere. The food was really tasty and service was punctual. We really liked it and would recommend.
