A really good evening. Extremely attentive staff, exceptionally clean restaurant and great food. Service was 100 %. walked in and had a table half an hour later. Busy, which is no surprise. If you want a good indian, definitely give it a go.

The Light of Asia is without doubt the best Indian restaurant in Wales. The food is excellent, the service is always brilliant, the owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful. We always look forward to eating here when we're in Aberystwyth and we've never been disappointed.

My partner and I had a beautiful selection of starters, a main meal and side dishes on 27.04.13. The quality of the food, service, atmosphere were of a high quality. It was that good, we visited again on the 28.04.13, had a different selection of food and all were as excellent as the first night.

I absolutely love it here and although I can no longer eat curry, I still go here and get take out regularly for the other food which is brilliant. Definitely worth the visit.

Tried most of Indian places in Aber and can confirm that this one beats them all! It's moderately expensive but not massively overpriced, however the food you're getting is worth every penny! Can get a bit crowded at times but surely that's a good sign! Always choose this place when wanting a meal out and never get disappointed.

Seemed to be the only busy place in Aberystwyth on Friday (perhaps every had gone to Cardiff fir the Rugby)! Nice menu with lots of choice, more choice starters then usual in most Indian restaurants. Food was excellent, staff were very attentive and friendly. The place was lively without being too noisy, décor was excellent. Highly recommended.
