The restaurant itself is located within the grounds of Coombe Park- which is a great location!!! The food was very nice - I went here for my birthday; the only thing that stroked me when I was there was that the majority of people in the restaurant were older couples or groups of people. I found the chairs not very... More

We went for afternoon tea at Coombe abbey for our Wedding Anniversary and to be honest we left disappointed. We arrived and waited a while before we were shown to our table. The garden room where you sit is very light and airy but the view was very disappointing. We overlooked workmen erecting a large marquee and a stone wall... More

We have enjoyed our Sunday Lunches, but sometimes feel that the staff are not really that interested in serving, although to be fair, we have had good staff, not a first choice to take visitors, but a really lovely setting.

The atmosphere was excellent , the Staff were polite and funny, the food was brilliant and so was the mead :-) the ribs were to die for and finished off with the apple crumble I haven't tasted any better.

Just had a wonderful family gathering. location and venue just perfect. We got everything we asked for and nothing too much for the staff. stayed overnight and although evening service in bar was very slow, they apologised and made it right. Rooms in the new block were great and very comfortable. the setting is magical and very well kept.

I went for Afternoon Tea here with my firned yesterday and we had the most amazing time. The staff were very polite, helpful and were keep to do all they could to make us comfortable. The setting was lovely inside the conservatory which is quite a large room, however the layout made it seem much smaller which was lovely. We... More

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea here recently. The sandwiches were fresh and the scones d'lish. I thought the pieces of cake were a little on the small side. The setting is lovely. I have only given an average score due to the staff having "forgot" our order, we had to remind the waitress after seeing people who arrived after us... More

Had a meal here one evening, midweek. The food was very good, menu traditional English fare. I had the rabbit terrine to start, my friend had potato & leek soup. Both were very nice. We both had a lamb dish for main, which was well cooked. There is a great wine list. Service is very good. The dining area is... More

We celebrated my friends 30th Birthday party at coombe abbeys medieval banquet, however it felt more like a school trip than a fun night out, before you can be seated you are given a list of do's and donts, we all paid 20 each which included a starter main and desert and wine the food was ok but the wine...
