For anyone who's is popping into Aldeburgh this place is a real gem. Aldeburgh residents we are very envious! This vintage tea room has a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere and could not be any further away from the multitude of fast paced coffee houses that keep popping up- Yawn!. With lots of varieties of wonderful teas, tasty and well...

This vintage style tea room is beautifully presented, with interesting decor and 40s music in the background. Fresh and tasty home made cakes and scones are served with a smile, and a good selection of hot drinks is available. There is a sheltered and sunny little courtyard garden at the back, should you have your dog or a pushchair with...

Take a break whilst visiting the lovely Aldeburgh and treat yourself to the most meltingly delicious meringues I have ever tasted at the Cragg Sisters Tearoom. Mmmm! Popped in on a bitingly cold day and was instantly warmed by the welcome. Authentic décor and music whisks you back in time. The wide rang of gorgeous cakes and teas make it...

Lovely old fashioned nostalgic tea rooms. The house blend of tea is refreshing and excellent, the home made Victoria sponge cake to die for. You feel very welcome, just wonderful to go to somewhere which is unique in this day and age of chain cafes. Defiantly recommend after a chilly walk along the beach.
Good position and reasonable food but the prices have gone up a lot since our last visit to the point where its not really that attractive any more. I think they have increased to Aldeburgh/London prices whereas before it was more typical of local cafe prices. Staff were friendly and good range of drinks like lemon tea and local ginger...

We ate here at lunchtime: sweet potato & chilli soup, egg & cress sandwiches, carrot cake and a scone. Friendly service, lovely crockery, gorgeous food (even the salad garnish with the sandwich was made special with a dressing and pickled red cabbage). Lots of different teas to choose from and menu has comprehensive descriptions of flavour etc. We bought 3...

A lovely little tea room with the most delicious homemade cakes etc. We had an early lunch of sandwiches, which were all made to order, and cake. All were served very promptly and were good portions and nicely served. Would certainly recommend and return when next in Aldeburgh.
Retro tea room and light lunch place, chintz and home-made cakes. Posh service and prices; Captaim Mainwaring would have spent 3d on a cup of coffee, not £2-4-0! However, excellent atmosphere and situation.
