Had hot lunch, cream tea and paninis. Each time we went, the staff was friendly and the food was fantastic. I loved the atmosphere and on our last day, we had to stop in for one more cream tea and cake.

We arrived at 3pm on a Saturday and surprising they were not serving hot food. I went to have a roast beef sandwich but they had run out. We were eventually enticed into 2 amazing sandwiches the staff were amazing and soooo friendly. A brilliant experience and will go again for cream tea!!!!!
In our day trip to Bath, our tour guide mentioned this little café to our group, so my friend and I decided to look for it before we had to leave the city. It's really well located, and we only took more than usual to find it, because we weren't familiar with the city.

It was only our second visit to The Mad Hatter but it already felt like we were regulars, we were remembered from the week before. We had a very warm and friendly welcome. Our lunch was excellent and very reasonably priced. We will be back again soon.
Great food, fantastic selection, child friendly, good value. Harry's favourite for sausage and beans. Right next to the Abbey in the centre of Bath.
