A very good cafe. Serves honest food cooked very well. The cooked breakfasts are first rate. Service is friendly and faultless. Would highly recommend.

Called for an early light lunch and was delighted with food, drink and service. Although it wasn't particularly busy, the staff seemed very efficient and polite. Georgeous squidgy chocolate brownies and wonderful lemon polenta cake and BOTH GLUTEN FREE! They also do gluten free breakfasts. The service was excellent and the café well worth a return visit next time we go to York, as I am so used to being unable to find anything suitable to eat in ordinary cafes. Many thanks.

A nice Cafe on Low Petergate. A good selection of food and drinks. Has a few seats by the window so you can watch the world go by. Gluten free food available.

A great find , we had a coffee here when we first arrived and as we found ourselves nearby later in the day decided to have lunch. Staff were very efficient and friendly. We had the York burger which came with salad and fried potatoes, the burger was probably the best one I have ever had altogether delicious.
