Well 2nd visit and after a year still compelled to state what a cracker this place is. Monday night this time Monday last time, both the same busy , food good , attentive efficient service. It's an Italian. If on a budget seek elsewhere as you get what you pay for.

Difficult to fault this restaurant as the food was delicious and the service was great. We visited Little Italy tonight after the raving reviews through Trip Advisor. I am very sad to say that the service we received was very rude, inappropriate and poor. This place was recommended to us by our B&B and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a scampi spaghetti with a light tomato sauce that was superb. My wife had a smoked salmon ravioli that she also rated as excellent. The place was quite noisy so I rated atmosphere as average.

This must be the best Italian restaurant in York and one of the best anywhere, superb food, attractively presented and in pleasant surroundings. This was our second visit. House wine an excellent bargain - £15 for a litre bottle of red or white.
