I always go there for an afternoon tea or late breakfast on Sunday morning. Eggs Benedict, salmon and egg on toast, homemade cakes, scones....so much choice and at a bargain! The staff is really friendly and helpful. The place is quiet small but that makes it cosy! A hidden little gem!

We absolutely adore the Royal Teas and the food and drink has never disappointed us. We've been visiting regularly since about 2007 as a family of vegetarians and have always welcomed the choice of food on menu, the brilliant specials and the willingness of the staff to modify the size of or ingredients in the dishes to suit our needs.... I hardly dare review Royal Teas because I don't want everyone to go to this small cafe on Royal Hill, because it only seats about 20 people inside, with a couple of tables outside, and it can be hard to get a seat there in busy times. It's away from the centre of Greenwich, so often missed by visitors Popular... More

If you live in Greenwich, you already know Royal Teas, so you must be a tourist. Do yourself a favour. Walk to Royal Teas, on the street named Royal Hill. Even if you don't decide to stay, this quant little street represents what Greenwich was like before the droves of tourists arrived. Fabulous cheese shop (one of the best in... More

I would recommend anyone going to this place. It's amazing, friendly staff, amazing food, and a great relaxed atmosphere. It's got a Mediterranean feel, but essentially British. Quaint seating outside and when the sun shines, it is glorious. Try the Salmon and their fresh juices! I haven't tried the cake, but its apparently notoriously good. I take the advice from... More

Always read about this place and finally had the chance to try it out. Loves the atmosphere of this small cafe, the juice was lovely and falafel and Halloumi wrap was really delicious with a good portion of salad.

Wonderful home cooked vegetarian fare at incredibly reasonable prices. Great cake too. There is nothing posh or pretentious here, just good simple food.

A bit off the beaten track but worth venturing from the centre of Greenwich. It's only small but clearly frequented by locals (good sign in my book). Good salad and warm baguette - nothing particularly fancy but tasty and good value.

I have lived in Greenwich since 2007 and discovered Royal teas soon after I moved to the area. The staff are very friendly and service is always good. They have a great selection of teas and the cakes are unbelievable. The very 1st time I went there I had their lemon drizzle cake. Not my usual choice but it was... More
