Description: Renowned throughout London and beyond, Ptrus is one of the biggest names on the restaurant scene. With the world-renowned Gordon Ramsay behind the scheme to raise Ptrus - now located on Knightsbridges Kinnerton Street - from the ashes, the restaurant exudes the famous Ramsay sense of luxury combined with down-to-earth charm. Decorated in subtle tones of champagne, oyster and copper along with the claret red which inspired the restaurant's name, Ptruss beguiling interior is superbly decadent and romantic and actually quite intimate. In the kitchen, Head Chef Sean Burbidge is creating its trademark modern French menu. At Ptrus the highest-quality ingredients go into dishes that combine delicious familiar flavours with unique presentation. Expect waves of divine amuse-bouches and a stupendous wine list, including a long list of vintages of Ptrus to make it all perfect.

My Girlfriend and I had our first Michelin dinning experience at Petrus at weekend and we are so happy we did. The experience from beginning to end was faultless. We had the Chef's Menu with paired fine wines. Food was awesome as was service and will remain with us for some time. The sommelier recommendations were perfect and delivered unpretentiously... More

Went to petrus for a business lunch and everything was perfect. Very efficient and friendly staff and a really professional feel to the running of the restaurant. The food was excellent and the drink and we had plenty of privacy to connect our meeting. Would certainly go again and recommend to friends and business colleagues. the down side might be... More

Having read the reviews we decided on Petrus to celebrate our anniversary and were not disappointed. We chose the 5 course chefs menu and couldn't fault it. Counting the extras, amuse bouche etc, we left the restaurant after 3 hours and 9 courses, 10 if you count the macaroons to wish us a happy anniversary. As for the restaurant staff,... More

We ate here on a Saturday lunchtime and decided to have the £30 three course set lunch. It was faultess. Not only were the three courses wonderful but you get an extra "amuse bouche" to start, a small extra pre-dessert and although we did not order coffee some wonderful white chocolate truffles served on dry ice. The whole experience was... More

I recently traveled to London, after a cruise, specifically to meet up with friends who live in England. They suggested we lunch at Petrus and do the £30 prix fixe 3-course option. Having just come off of a high-end cruise that had amazing food and service, I was not expecting to be blown away. I was wrong. From start to... More

Took my wife to lunch at Petrus celebrate her birthday. We had previously been to Claridges when it was run by Gordon Ramsay and were very impressed. Booked this on the back of the reviews and we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic and for lunch it is reasonably priced providing it us a special occasion. Why spend nearly... More

My son and his wife gave me a voucher for £150 to use at Petrus for my 60th birthday. We spent £20-£30 pounds over this, with drinks, and it was an excellent experience. The food was so tasty. The plates are huge, so it looks as if the portions are small, but we found together with all the treats served... More
