Description: Opened in September 2009, Apsleys, a Heinz Beck Restaurant is the first restaurant outside Italy created by internationally renowned chef, Heinz Beck, holder of three Michelin stars at La Pergola in Rome. Heinz Beck soon earned the restaurant its own Michelin Star, when in February 2010 it became the fastest London establishment to be bestowed with the award and maintained this award onwards. Apsleys? stunning Venetian-style dining room, with its glass roof and plush upholstery, is one of the most beautiful spaces for dining in London, an elegant setting for any occasion. Overseen by Beck and run by Executive Chef Heros De Agostinis, who used to work with Heinz Beck in Rome. Beck has created a menu that focuses on lighter Mediterranean-inspired dishes and is concerned with keeping dishes healthy and as approachable as they are exciting. Signature dishes include the magnificent Carbonara Fagotelli of melt-in-the-mouth pasta parcels. At lunchtime, Apsleys' 'Menu del Giorno' is a popular choice, while Beck's seven course tasting menu is ideal for celebratory dinners. The wine list has enormous depth and includes some of the rarest vintages in the world. Apsleys, a Heinz Beck Restaurant is located on the ground floor of The Lanesborough in the heart of Knightsbridge, the restaurant has two semi-private dining rooms available for larger parties.

There are not enough great things one can say about how amazing this place is. The ambience is magnificent, and the hosts most gracious. Exceptional service, beautiful atmosphere. Light and elegant surroundings, lovely and delicate food. They served us a predest which was devine, plenty of sandwiches, mini quiches, lovely sponge cakes, chocolate desserts and scones. All of the food was outstanding and the staff couldn't have been happier to serve us.

Conveniently located near Hyde Park corner. Apsleys is a sophisticated, consistent and beautifully decorated Italian. I first went there a few years ago, their excellence in service and lovely presented food have always remind me what a special place it is. Definitely reserved for all the special occasions!

One of us went 'table d'hote' & the other 'a la carte. Table was very comfortable, staff competent and professional. Amouse bouche of salmon with orange sauce, pasta ravioli with a carbonara filling was superb, venison for main dish, chocolate soufflé was superb & petit fours delightful.

visited the Apsleys with friend in Lanesborough Hotel for their famous afternoon tea. the service is excellent as well as the food. especially the scone which is just the right texture! with clotted cream and homemade strawberry jam. please try their house blended English tea. full of mature taste.
