We have been to 17 Again twice during visits to Keswick. Food and service is excellent. Booking advisable as not much seating. Would recommend a visit.
I took my friend there last weekend as it looked really nice from the outside and had an excellent review from Trip Advisor on the door. Service was very poor despite only two tables being used. Tea was served in coffe pot. Knives, spoons and forks were handed to us by the waitress with her fingers all over the 'eating'... More
We decided that 17 again looked quirky and interesting and after just arriving in Keswick we thought the allure of the decor was enough for us to go in ...... What a shame. The service was poor, it was obvious the girl had no real experience in serving. I asked what the soup was to which she replied " I... More
Empty but could see a guy in the back room who shouted he would be out soon - big sure what hd was doing. Coffee was OK. Had to go looking for him agsin to Pay. Felt totally unwelcome.
We were told to try this place as it was known for being quirky. I think we would have just walked past it otherwise. Upon entry there were no staff to be seen and we were not sure if we were in a shop or café or both. My partner and I sat down but did wonder if anyone would... More
Quick, friendly service even at a busy time and great food reasonably priced. We went back the following night, just for dessert!
An absolute delight, yes I agree the service is slow but always with a smile and the steak is fantastic, we have been a few times and the wife always comments that this is one of the few places that knows how to cook a blue steak, but it's not just about the food, the ambience is amazing and your... Booked for a Sunday night as we were staying just around the corner. The restaurant is an unusual mix of sales and food. Very quirky and this is not a fast food place. Customers seemed to be of a 'certain age', more mature. The order was taken quickly and water was provided along with drinks. The food was delicious, well... More
Found this place by accident and what a discovery. Such a cute, unique cafe, the little touches they made fitted in so well with the atmosphere, heart shaped scones to match the heart shaped biscuits that comes with cups of tea. They sell some really unique gifts too. Definitely worth a visit.
just like to comment on last reveiw, as we were sat on the next table to them, they was just in to try to get a free meal and walk out not paying. I will still come again to the coffee shop regardless of any this remark they have put up on here.
