Very good food, helpful staff, pleasant ambience. We look for every excuse to eat out there. I always have the shashlik, but my husband does try different dishes, and always enjoys them.

This indian restaurant is very good as the food was excellent. We had a table for four where everyone thought their meal was first class. The restaurant was very busy so the meal took a little while to come but this added to a relaxed atmosphere. Next time in Kendal will eat their again.

Eat here regularly due to good food and pleasant service. Food always good. Place really needs to be refitted as it is tired, dated and even scruffy in parts. Last visit, there was a cable for a fan heater draped over the top step on the way to the toilets. Not at all safe!

We went on Saturday night the restaurant is so busy . Waiter is manage to find as table . We orders chicken Rajasthani& lamb tikka Tarka tan. I manage to finish all naan bread. Portion size is perfect . Staff is friendly. We well go back on Valentine's Day .we book the table... I recommend This is the indian .....

We went for meal and it didn't disapoint.we had meat samosas and onion bhajis followed by chicken dhansack and lamb ticka dhansack all were very tasty and service good would go again tomorrow

It is what it says on the tin, if you want an average curry go here the service is ok the guys try hard but could do better.

Cold and wet when we arrived. Place less than half full but seemed to be a problem finding a table for us, that would be 2 people! Sat at table and ignored for the next 20 minutes by at least 3 members of staff standing a few feet away. I would have walked out, but better half more tolerant than... More

Went early on a Friday night and was at best described as average. My meal was ok (lamb dansak) but my partners was terrible - not seen that boiled injected with water chicken for years - proper chicken ain't that expensive why use such crap! We'll stear clear of this place in future.
