Visited this restaurant on a Monday night, and although it wasn't very busy, there was still a nice atmosphere. The service was excellent, relaxed but always seemed to be there whenever we needed something else. The food was delicious, and very good value for money. We are looking forward to returning very soon.

We were well looked after, my fish dish was fantastic. The only down side was bringing my little girls dinner out after everyone else had been served, which she then had to wait for me to request a cold plate so that I could cool it down.

I do not think there are any other Italian restaurants in the west cumbrian area so they have a lot to live up to, it is a lovely environment (although very hard to find!) menu was big but hard to choose from as a lot of it was in Italian! A bright restaurant........ and I had spaghetti carbonara which was more mushroom than bacon, egg and cream. Other than that, is was just an average place.

Significantly improved quality of food and service since Steve has taken over the reigns. Good for fish but fillet steak is also excellent.
