Second visit and went straight for the Steak. Superbly cooked and worth the wait. The Chef won't cook it until its stood for half an hour! VG polite service. Recommended!

I have eaten at the parrot twice now , both times were amazing , first time I enjoyed the Kobe steak , best steak I have ever eaten , 2nd time I enjoyed the black stone experience , this was served with Kobe , Texas longhorn and alligator meat that you cook yourself on a red hot stone , would... Very near where we live and a bit disappointing its not better. Have tried it half a dozen times in the last 18 months. Never seems that clean; the food is fairly good although pricey for what you get and the choice is often limited with the full menu not being available. We now only pop in as a last... More

All the sunday lunch reviews may be ok ,but visit during the week and it's likely you will be dining pretty much alone. The food was no more average and unless you are on a deal of some sort ,lacks the quality of full price value. The place itself is in need of decoration ,but perhaps the lack of customers... More

Visited for Sunday lunch with 9 friends. Great place, food excellent. Home made everything. Staff friendly, with good service. Puddings were great - we found it hard to choose one! Will definitely return.

Some friends and I went for a sunday lunch deal we'd gotten with groupon, and was a very good bargin, the 2 of us that're meat eaters took the opportuntiy to upgrade to Kobe Beef and weren't disappointed, it was delicious, well presented, nice big helpings, lots of gravy, home made yorkshire puddings, and after we'd seen some delicious desserts... The food at the Parrot is inventive, delicious and value for money. We have been twice now, both times the toilets were broken, filthy and generally unpleasant. Unfortunately the reason we will not return.

From the moment I called to book, Jonathan was welcoming and accommodating. The service was efficient but not invasive, the quality and quantity of the food was excellent, and the Baileys and Caramel cheesecake was, without a doubt, the best cheesecake I have ever tasted in my life. We went for Sunday lunch on a Groupon offer and there was... More
