This is one of my favourite restaurants in Brighton - I'm a big fan of their food, and love the menu. Great service and brilliant food.
Very humdrum evening - we were expecting more. May be just an off night but it did not have the outstanding food we had experienced before (admittedly a long time ago) Nothing to say horrible but nothing to say wow either.
We were struggling to find a nice a nice place to eat in Brighton. I decided to try La Fourchette and we loved it. Service was great and the food was amazing too. Prices were great too. Really enjoyed my evening there. Definitely coming back :) !
The ratings say it all, overpriced (£5 for a mini quiche!), service atrociously bad (drinks not refrigerated, only pouring half a glass of orange juice as they ran out, missing glasses, knives and someone's in our party's entire order!) and then what did arrive was soggy, cold and generally revoulting! Great value, lovely food, what more could you want?
Staying at the Langfords Hotel we decided not to have the hotel breakfast but to venture out and came across La Fourchette and what a pleasant suprise. There was plenty of comfortable seating and a comprehensive breakfast menu, my wife had the smoked salmon which was beautifully prepared and I had the the Greek Yoghurt and fresh fruit again nicely...
