Just been to the Melrose for my birthday with family on my friends recommendation. Superb food particularly the crab and lobster. Lovely staff, wonderfully view of sea and ruin of west pier plus great value for money. If you like fish do not miss this place

Friendly, family run restaurant with the best grilled fish in Brighton. Generous portions, beautifully cooked, fair prices (including wine), home-made puds, no frills and tables outside and inside with a sea view. Open throughout the day all year round - what more could you want!
