The self service food is good but very expensive which could put a lot of people off making a return visit. The coffee has improved, at last. I will visit again but just for a coffee, sorry. Knock a £1.00 off main meals and cakes and I will buy more food.

I have been to Cranks on several occasions and always enjoyed the lovely food. However, I felt I must write and say how poor the coffee is. I am a coffee lover (possibly a geek) and I have to say that in all the times I have been there I have never had a good cup of coffee. Every time... More

After a delightful walk in Dartington, a group of us had lunch at Cranks. They were very informative when I asked about Gluten free meals, unfortunately this did limit my choice. Service was quick and efficient

Popped into Cranks, whilst shopping in Dartington, as it was lunch time it was fairly busy, but there is plenty of seating available including a nice courtyard area, although it was a tad chilly when we visited so opted to stay inside. There was a bit of a queue to select then pay for your food, but there were plenty of staff... More

Hot food was not hot. Lasagne was horrible... similar mush all the way through. Cold drinks were warm. Babooti was ordered, but was sent back to the kitchen as it was not cooked through. Service was very muddled. VERY POOR VALUE.

my wife and I frequently come here when shopping in this delightful complex, whilst the food here is strictly vegetarian don't be in any way put off. today we had soup and cheese scone, despite it being cream of tomato (not my favourite) it was fantastic subtly flavoured and very warming and at £4.90 very good value. Parking at the... More

I love lunching at Cranks when visiting the Cider Press. I'm not veggie but my daughter is and she loves the range of choice there - and so do I. The food is excellent - wholesome and delicious - but I too feel that the prices are creeping up and up - most lunches upwards of £8.50 - to silly... More
