Despite what the last review said, my husband, myself and children also visited "Olives" on the Easter break and had a totally fab experience I ordered a ploughmans and couldn't believe the variety on my plate such a large portion and looked fantastic, the cakes were out this world and children loved the yummy chocolate brownies!!! Lovely service, great cakes. As a Devonian used to 'proper' cream teas with the Jam on the cream!...(you don't put marmalade on your toast and then the butter!)...anyway...yawn...I know me scones. These were worthy of a 'Brucie bonus'. Awesome! Thankyou.

Found the quality and service to be first class. A refreshing change from some of the eateries in St Ives. Would highly recommend the ploughmans. Looking forward to return

Great homemade food! Would highly recommend the soup of the day and of course the cream tea- delicious!!!! The cafe is small and a wait for a table maybe required- I would recommend waiting.

I often search the web trying to find the best cream tea whenever I visit the west country and so far, no joy! Now I've found it and we stumbled across this place by accident!! Freshly made scones daily which are huge and incredibly light and fluffy for less than a fiver! Lovely little place, will definitely visit again.

The cakes in Olives are unbelievably good. The staff are friendly and it's relly cute little place. A great place for an afternoon cup of tea and the soup is great at lunch time too,
