The fish was generous in size, beautifully cooked and the chips were crispy outside but a lovely texture inside, not greasy. One of the best I have tasted in a long while

Won an award (or some awards?) a few years ago, this fish and chip shop appears to have been making little effort since then. The fish and chips are okay, but nothing to get excited about. Always seems busy though, presumably because of its prime location on the market square.

We ordered a simple portion of chips each - which had zero taste and most of the chips had black ends. Miserable. The girls behind the counter that day were in their own world. Sad because the Chatteris shop it great - both the friendliness and the taste and quality of the food.

Good fish but the chips were horrible they were double fried when they cooled down became impossible to eat as so hard.

I have been here many times and i think that the fish and chips here are excellent, however the chips can be a little bit variable on occasions not sure why?! The fish and mushy peas are consistently good though. Not bad value for money.

This used to be a busy fish and chip shop with people eating inside and out but since the above have let it fade, it's rubbish. Fish is small and chips well disgusting full of oil. No thanks not again
