Incredibly tasty 3 course lunch, at an incredible price. Perfect setting, great waiting staff. Shall definitely be back, try evening next time.
Went there for lunch time the menu had a good choice the price excellent we could not fault it worth a visit
First with my only gripe..and the loss of a 5 star. If you are putting scallops on the menu serve scallop"s" not one the size of a 10pence piece, gripe over. The food was very impressive, the wild Hare a real treat, and a beef Wellington that had friends revelling words "the best they have ever had" The atmosphere is... More
We visited for a friend's birthday at lunchtime. Food was excellent. I had Game Terrine followed by baked Hake and finally Treacle Tart. With 3 courses for £12 plus drinks - it was great. With 6 people the bill with drinks, wine and coffee was £130 plus tip. Service was attentive and friendly. This was our fourth visit and it... More
We arrived with friends for a Sliver Wedding Anniversary and as requested the staff put us in the window seats, It was ideal as the boat is very special and suited our occasion. On the down side we found we had to wait a long time for our meals and although booked in at 7.30pm we never left till 10.40pm... More
My wife and I have eaten here twice in a month now, and found the whole experience memorable gastronomically and aesthetically. The restaurant occupies a great location, on the river by the Bristol bridge ; eating in the evening when the city lights reflect in the water around you made us feel like we were in Paris. The staff were... More
We stayed overnight in Bristol, to go to a gig, so we wanted to have a meal beforehand. We booked a table for 6.30pm, and although it was a bit quite when we first arrived, it got busier a bit later. I wasn't familiar with some of the wines on the menu, but the waiter was very knowledgeable about it,... More
We only happened on this restaurant by accident while driving across the nearby bridge into the town centre, but what a find ! The set lunch of 3 courses was excellent in quality and value and not small portions either which for £12 each was exceptional. Can't wait to try dinner as the location will be even more magical when... More
Usually boat restaurant have nice settings, this one is no exception. The views are nice, great atmosphere and well managed for business meetings. The food was really good, but the portions could be slightly bigger. The key rule was thus missed: the guest should not go out hungry. Still the service and overall impression was positive.
Staff is no smile. Price is above average, but portion is small. taste and presentation is normal. Bread served cold from bar without any cover. Not really reach the expectation.
