They remodeled the place last year . Moved a deli bar in the middle of the room completely ruining the ambience of the historic building. I have dined here numourous times as it is the closest place from my home . It use to be very good to excellent food for fairly steep prices . However it was very busy... More

This great little property has views to die for. Sit in the big soaker tub and relax while staring out at the ocean. Beds were very comfy and the little kitchenette was handy for snacks and drinks. Spend the money and stay here, its a very special treat!

Very rude and hostile server. She seemed to be at "management level". My wife even said to her "you make me feel unwelcome". I have never been treated so badly. We complained to the "boss".The location is great with a view from the outside deck overlooking the sea.

My wife and I enjoyed our meal here with the view of Finlayson Arm. I would suggest if you take in the Salmon Run at Goldstream Park, after you are finished with the walk, get in your car and just up the hill from there you can stop in and enjoy a great meal overlooking where you were. I realize... More

Best food we have had in a long time - kale beet salad, lamb, salmon - all amazing. Can't wait to eat here again.

Fourteen of us enjoyed a fantastic lunch lat Saturday; our waitress was amazing, from topping up our water or coffee’s to clearing the plates soon after we finished. Everyone ordered something different, which was nice to see all the different items on the menu (except the pulled pork sandwich) the portions were a good size, no one had any complaints,... More

First of all the view was excellent. Too bad that their service was not. We had to get everything. From our own cutlery to the food. High prices for the food. Guess you are paying for the view.

The menu is too far left with nothing truly kid friendly. The food portions leave you hungry after spending $25.00 to $50.00 a plate. The remodel did nothing more than add a highbrow deli counter and an ugly sign advertising for months fast casual which was completely false.

A friend raved about previously eating on the deck with an unsurpassed view of natural beauty: Far below is gorgeous Saanich Inlet with mountains of forest coming down to the shore and occasional boats leaving a white trail of churned water. Unbelievably beautiful and all seen from the deck that has railings with transparent panels to keep from inhibiting the... More
