We had lunch at The Tides on our last day in Antigua. The food and service were both wonderful and the view of Dutchman's harbor is spectacular. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

There's no doubt that the Tides is my favourite place to spend time between an early airport check in and departure, but it's well worth a visit for just about any day. The new grill is more affordable than the regular menu, and the small pool is a very welcome addition. The beach area is ideal to keep children happy...

The setting on Dutchman's bay beach is gorgeous, a nice lawn in front of the restaurant porch allows a look of the beach and of the bay. Wind enters the restaurant and brings some cool, there is also a small pool on the back, near a circular bar ready for cocktails and drinks.
The menu is actually similar to many...

We did eat here on their first night opening since a remodel so that may have played a part in our experience.
If you like dining at chain store restaurants, you will not be disappointed. The atmosphere was nice, but lacked character and personality. The food was predictable and just average. Fish was not fresh and was overcooked. Lobster was...

Being raised in NY I am fussy about my food. This is not a problem at the Tides. The service is always great the staff is always polite and friendly. Sometimes the food is good and sometimes its great. The location is kind off the beaten path but the view is excellent nice overlooking Jumby resorts and the Atlantic side...

We stayed at the galley bay Antigua, rented a car and went exploring. Lunch time came and I wanted some lobster. This place is next to the airport, but then again antigua is so tiny that everything is fairly close by. We ordered the shrimp salad which was fantastic, as well as the calamari. The calamari was terrible. For the...

My wife and I were in transit from Dominica to the USA. We had five hours to wait for our next flight out of Antigua. The taxi driver at the airport suggested we visit The Tides. The waitstaff at the restaurant welcomed us like royalty. They took all of our luggage and stored it in a corner of the restaurant...

The Tides was a wonderful place to go for dinner. The view from the verandah is beautiful and the service is excellent. The menu is varied and interesting and nothing disappointed. My fiancé took the grilled local lobster which was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I loved their bread-and-butter pudding with Antiguan rum sauce for dessert...yum! And we both thought their rum punch...

It’s dark, of course, at dinner time but outdoor terrace tables have a view over the water to the lights of Jumby Bay. There were two expensive yachts anchored offshore, all lit up, which added to the ambience. This is a very nice location. At lunch time it must be rather appealing. If you are inside, it is also very...

In May my extended family of twelve and I stayed at Dutchman's Bay Cottages which is just a few steps along a lovely beach to the Tides Inn. We enjoyed dinner at Tides almost every night and lunch on a couple of occasions.
Each night we started our dining experience with drinks on the verandah over looking Dutchman’s Bay. Once...
