Arrived for an early supper, service was excellent, attentive without being over the top, I managed to spill a full glass of water which was handled swiftly and discreetly without making feel like an idiot. Food was excellent and the cod cake offered as an amuse was superb. Would recommend and we will return when the opportunity arises.

This very pleasant restaurant on Elm Street, near the Arts and Letters Club, features Portuguese cuisine and does so with great success. I had a sea food bisque and grilled squid; both were well prepared and tasty. Prices were on the high side. Highly recommended.

I recently returned for dinner with my family at Adega (33 Elm St., Toronto, Ontario, CA), having first dined there nearly a year before during a similar visit to Toronto. Our impression on that first visit was confirmed by the most recent experience: a good restaurant in its genre, very good on the salads and appetizers as well as with... More

I was sitting at the back of the restaurant. Service and Food was good. The kitchen stuffs were very loud. You can hear them talking and swearing ! !! Specially if you speak Spanish, you will understand everything.(next time I will ask for a table in the middle or close to the door). The management should take step to prevent... More

And very nice it was too! A cold wet Summer's day, and a great place to eat well, drink well, and avoid the wintry blasts outside. Why did we leave? Really only because we'd finished a lovely lunch and we had to!

We had dinner at Adega and thoroughly enjoyed it! Carrot-coconut-sweet potato soup, grilled sardines, grilled squid and pan-roasted salmon. Everything was delicious and service was very very nice. The restaurant has lovely artwork on the walls and a very nice atmosphere. I would recommend Adega over many of its neighbors!

Pleasant, food was ok - squid dish didn't taste particularly fresh - even though it was their "special". I think there are many other better restaurants in Toronto to consider.

Reserved through open table and the staff was very accommodating to make sure we stayed on time for a show. Food was very good everybody had something different and really enjoyed the food quality. Our server suggested the Portuguese house wine and it was really a nice match with the food. We really liked how our server let us know... More

I love the food here (very good quality), and I love the service!! Very professional but friendly as well. This is my first choice for a beautiful summer night out on the (very) small sidewalk patio with a wonderful glass of wine, the BEST grilled calamari in the city and some people watching. I keep going back again and again!... More
