I had hoped for a bit more from this microbrewery, the beer wasn't anything special. The service was great though and the place was clean and fresh.
We had eaten at this restaurant about two years ago and remembered it being quite good, so we decided to try it again. The in house beer has quite good, but the food was just average or a little below. We had the bruschetta and cheese sticks platter as an app. The cheese sticks were good as was the dip... More
After a weekend in Toronto, nothing stood out about this place. Yes it was a microbrewery which is fun, but their beer is not amazing. The food edible, and agreed to the menu, but not amazing. Service was OK, music was loud.
Was here on 9/19 really wanted a coveted street seat, but was happy on the 2nd floor. Terrific atmosphere throughout the restaurant. The menu is extensive, with something for all tastes. We both chose an item from the server recommended "Flemmekueche" section. Started with Maxi Fries, then our mains served with appropriate space in between. I had the Thai, my... More
I have been two times in this pub. Good Atmosphere, good Ale (I had a tasting beer) Good custumer service, friendly and very welcome. They brewer a beer on site! This place is not cheap but what you can expect from downtown, but it worth!
My wife and I stopped here for a lunch break twice during our honeymoon. The food is better than you'd expect for a city centre bar, and the real attraction is of course the beer. There's a good range to choose from (considering it's a micro-brewery) and each menu item has a guide as to what beer might go well... More
My husband and a friend of ours stopped into this restaurant and had a very average meal with average service in a very loud environment. The restaurant is massive and with all the TVs and blaring music, you can hardly hear who you are dining with. This may sound like I am a 90-year-old fuddy duddy, but I can assure... More
We visited the restaurant for the 1st time Labour Day Weekend, the atmosphere was very pleasant. There are 3 floors, and they brew there own beer. Be Aware the do not carry any domestic brands. My husband had the popcorn shrimp as an appetizer, he did not enjoy them he thought they were overcooked. He described them as burnt. My... More
The place is really spacious. Staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The service was outstanding for this kind of restaurant. Food was awesome and their own home brew beer is fantastic. It was my first time to drink beer from strawberries. If you go to the second floor you can see the beer installation - massive... More
We were exploring and trying different beers in Toronto and this place had good reviews. We just had finger food and tried a few of the beers. I was disappointed in the beers. We tried the blonde, IPA, Amber and Brown ales. Very similar style none were bad but nothing special. They had a fruit based ale that seemed popular.... More
