Forget it. The location is cute and cozy. The idea is good. The service stinks, the food is entirely average and overpriced. There are so many better options in this city of gourmet food I don't know why anyone would bother with this place.

The relaxed ambiance of this busy restaurant has long held a special appeal for my wife and me, and thankfully has not changed over the years. We always look forward to our annual visit, this year reserving a table before an afternoon theatre performance. The menu continues to be contemporary and interesting, is not expensive, and the service is professional.

We have always had excellent service and food at Down The Street. I suggest making a reservation, and be prepared to not have separate bills (they don't do it), then enjoy a great meal with lovely ambiance.

Everything about this place is Bang on ! From the service to the food! Excellent atmosphere, well priced meals with an interesting mix on non traditional offerings. Every time I go to Stratford I will make this my first choice!
