We visited here while attending a few days of the Shakespeare festival. We had reservations so was seated immediately. The menu isn't extensive. The service was civil at best definitely not warm. We dined on lobster bisque and the mustard glazed pork. My husband liked the lobster bisque. The pork was tender and with the mustard sauce very flavorful. The... More

My husband and I moved to Stratford 6 months ago. The local Taoist Tai Chi club recommended Keystone Alley as one of the best restaurants in the area. When my husband's world travelling brother and sister-in-law came to visit from San Francisco we decided to try Keystone Alley. We all were thoroughly delighted with our food selections. Main courses included... More

My husband and I met with friends in Stratford. We had decided to return to Keystone Alley Cafe. The food was very good. We ordered from the luncheon features. I had the lentil, tomato, orange soup and the deli sandwich. All was delicious. My husband, who is a vegetarian, was easily accommodated with a special sandwich from the chef which... More

Just across from the Avon theatre is this wonderful restaurant - with interesting food at very reasonable prices. (Off season, a three course prix fix for $32). We had an excellent Arctic char and a very good pork loin last night; we're told by friends that the steaks are also first rate. Everything is homemade, they say, and we believe... More

One of the best meals I have had in Stratford in a long time. We have been disappointed with inconsistent expensive meals in Stratford but this is not the case with the Keystone. The service was friendly, timely and the meal was exceptional. Thanks to everyone at the Keystone for making the evening pleasant for us. I think we will... More

My wife and I, from Alberta, Canada, visited Stratford, Ontario in February and reserved a table for two at Keystone Alley Cafe for our Valentine Supper one day before Valentine Day. We arrived at 5 pm, and we were the only customers in the cafe and we got the full attention of the server. We had the off-season 3-course specials... More

Loved the food - although there was a bit of a wait both for apps and mains. Nonetheless, the service was fantastic, and everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. I would definitely return!

Keystone Alley has some of the finest food in Stratford. Its dishes are elegant, and the restaurant has been consistent for years. The decor is excellent; the service is impeccable. Fair warning: have a reservation. It is very, very popular.

The Keystone is a chef-owned bistro of long standing. For good reasons. When I want a quiet, intimate meal, I go here. The menu is very bistro with great prix-fixe deals in the off-season. The quality is very good. The wines are discerned and thoughtfully paired. The sound level ranges from quiet to reasonable, thank God -- what a relief... More
