My wife's fish and chips was greasy and completely unappetizing, even smelling faintly of ammonia. The fries were undercooked. I ordered the burger and it was wholly unimpressive, very bland tasting. We mentioned our disappointment to our server, who said she was sorry to hear it, but did nothing. Obviously we will never be returning.

This was our first visit to the Church Key Pub. Having heard good things and looking at the menu, it sounded promising. For starters, the Guinness pour was awful. A good pub should know how to do this. Great pretzel bread with a dijon mustard while waiting. The appetizer was also excellent (salmon wrapped scallops). Unfortunately the mains were average... The Church Key Pub is broadly recommended on internet restaurant review sites, and I will vouch for the accuracy of those ratings. While spending a night in London on a recent mid-week evening I ate dinner here. They have a moderate sized but good quality wine selection; a nice representation of domestic, regional and import beers & ales; and a... More

Four of us went for Sunday Brunch and we each ordered a different menu item. Not one of us can say we really were even mildly impressed by the meal we were served. We had reservations and were seated within minutes of arrival, but then it was almost a half hour before we were even asked what beverages we would... More

It is the only place to eat in London. Fresh, well priced, cozy, and comfortable. With some amazing beer on tap ta boot. I live here and it is the only place i like to eat. Go for it you will not be disappointed.

We finally got a chance to try the menu at The Church Key and were very impressed. There isn't a lot of seating so reservations are a must or you'll likely be turned away if it's a weekend. We loved the variety of the menu and the unique meal options. I took advantage of the Game of the Week selection... More

Tried the Church Key when it first opened, and really kinda wrote it off. There were other choices. Recently gave it a second chance, and been impressed with it. Couple of stand outs on the menu (pot roast!, bacon wrapped scallops, butternut squash soup) and some good beers. The specials are usually the way to go. Keep it up.

We started coming here over two years ago and while not everything every night has been perfect more often than not it is outstanding. The standard menu has many reliable favorite's and the features, well admittedly ambitious, usually come across exceptionally well. The restaurant is tiny and that limit's what they can do, but they make the most of it... More

I've eaten in for brunch and dinner, and we've also gotten take-out for dinner a couple of times. I think the food is great, although a bit pricey, especially for brunch. I love that it's not normal traditional greasy pub food, but that the selection is unique and the food tastes great. The cauliflower fritters and veggie burger are two... More

Visited recently after a play at the Grand, the service staff are great very knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. Tried a few appetizers but the salmon wrapped scallops stood out, will definitely have them on a return visit. We all had different entrees that were thoroughly enjoyable, especially the grilled halibut, delicious. We will be returning to try some... More
