Always good. Always filled with happy patrons. Wait staff are attentive and fun. Now that I'm not in Halifax anymore, I really miss going there. First place on my list though when I visit in the summer.

You can't go wrong here - a great date restaurant, but it's also good for lunch with your mum. The desserts are to-die-for, and the pork ravioli is one of the best things I've ever eaten.

This is "our restaurant". My husband took me here 12 years ago on our first date and we return each September. The food is rich and flavourful. Always consistent service and food quality. My husband's favourites are the pork tenderloin & rack of lamb. I love the mushroom ravioli and halibut.

We visited Il Mercato on a vist last week. The service was very good. The restaurant is lovely. The food was the highlight. The papardelle with lamb was exceptional and the ravioli with pumpkin excellent. Definiely recommended!
