Nice European cafe atmosphere with tasty food. We had a scone sandwich and yogurt parfait for breakfast. Both were very good and fresh. Their coffee was excellent - bitter free!!! Great place to grab a quick meal.

Stayed in the hotel and usually had breakfast here. Breakfast pizza, buns, wraps for growing teenagers, bacon and eggs for husband, build your own sandwiches for more discernable eaters and darn good coffee for Mum (and huge muffins and scones too)! Friendly staff make it a great place to start the day.

The Portobello is excellent particularly for families who want a range of different foods, ready quickly. The breakfast is great with everything from waffles and fruit to full breakfasts and hot oatmeal. Their soups and sandwiches are such good quality and you can build your own sandwich from a vast range of fillings on offer. A great place to eat.

Self service style eatery. Large selection of offerings including filled breakfast scones and bagels, fruit, musli, yoghurt, flavoured coffees and hot chocolate. Easy to go overboard and rack up a decent bill but be sensible and it's decent value for the upper village. Staying at the Four Seasons, we found this a good quick alternative to the hotels large buffet... More

Great if you're happy with self service fast-food type cafe. Quite busy in the mornings but staff were friendly enough. Comparing Whistler average prices, this offered value for money for breakfast. The plated food was better than the pre-made breakfast buns and the 'home made' muesli was great. Didn't enjoy the watery oatmeal (porridge) though.

We ate breakfast here the first day which was excellent but it is pricey. The hot chocolate is the best, loved the dark hot chocolate. My husband is a huge starbucks fan and struggles to find better coffee and now he has! The lemon and cranberry muffins are lovely!

My wife just loves the seafood chowder, perfect on cold day. The chilli is also good. Plenty of room to sit and if you are in the mood to relax there are some couches in the lower area in front of the large screen TV

This is the place to get some hot chocolate and baked goodies after a day on the slopes. Always fresh. Great sandwiches as well.

Used to be 5-stars, but now that the tuna melt and mushroom soup are gone, it's just average. I looked forward to getting the soup at least (tuna melt has been gone for years though you can kind of make your own) each time we go up to Whistler. Just this past March we had it! Then, for New Years,... More

Portbello was recommended to us by a friend who lives and works in Whistler. We went for breakfast on News Years Day, our first breakfast of 2013 and it was a truely awful experience. Our son chose the breakfast bagel which at best was mediocre, the bacon was cold and had been cooked long before it was served. My husband... More
