Wow! Caesar salad was awful Limp lettuce, when we told the waitress she asked what would you like me to do? the service was slow ( took 10 min before someone showed) up, asked three times for some BBQ sauce on the side before we got it. The ribs were very dry ( over cooked) salad brutal and a waitress... More

Delicious deep fried pickles, the pulled pork leaves something to be desired. they have a good lunch combo, and their smoke chicken sandwich is nice.

Our group all ordered the restaurant's specialty, pork ribs, and they were, by far, the worst we have ever experienced. They were done St Louis style, which is one of our favourite ways to enjoy ribs, but these were so tough and overdone that a steak knife was barely enough to cut through them. We only ate half of what... More

So delicious! It was like home cooked BBQ. I'd never had collard greens before and I don't think I can ever have ones as good.

Three of us for dinner, each had a different meat, and yet the bbq sauce was the very same of all of the dishes. I would say this restaurant is overpriced for the food quality. Average at best.

I ordered the ribs with greens. The ribs tasted like chemicals and were not really smoked like you would expect from a real smokehouse. I think they were just boiled and thrown on a grill and smothered with barbeque sauce. I have had real smoke house barbeque ribs in Memphis and these were definately not the same. The greens were... We love ribs and had heard a few years ago that this restaurant was good but we were very disappointed. the service was friendly and quick but the food was adequate. The ribs were quite dry and the shrimp appetizer was very pedestrian. Poor value for the cost.

Terrible BBQ. Pulled pork was inedible, sauces were horrid, beef brisket was tasteless, fries were baked horrors, poutine had cheese sauce and no gravy, BBQ beef ribs were filled with gristle. Only solid was this one waitress who served almost 15 tables with aplomb and was incredible gracious. It was my mistake for seeking out BBQ in a seafood town.

My sister introduced me to Smoken Bones Cookshack in the summer of 2012. All I can say is AMAZING. We ordered the BBQ Taster for 2 or more, as well as the biscuits and sausage gravy. People, when it says "for 2 or more" they really mean the "or more" part. would have fed at least 4 people. we took... More

Went this week on Monday at about 7:00 pm, and was a bit surprised at how many diners were there. My good friend Ted and I waited at the bar for about 20 minutes before being seated. The friendly barkeep was very knowledgable about beer - porter, dunkel, cream ale etc. The selection of local brews was varied and we... More
