I can't say I'm an expert on waffles - pretty much I'm used to those dry ones that you have to drench in syrup to make edible. Skip to Wannawafel and what a difference. Moist with a gooey caramel coating with a healthy dose of hot Belgian chocolate ladled on. It was fantastic and I'll be back for sure.

The liege waffles are out of this world. With fruit topping and whipped cream they are the best. It was a beautiful day so we sat out on the patio. It was like being in Belgium. The space inside the shop is rather small with only a few tables and chairs.

I usually don't write TA reviews for food places but I enjoyed my experience so much at this place that I had to. The waffles are great and the chocolate topping I got was amazing. My wife and I went twice during the two days we were in Victoria. Definitely worth a stop.
