The Treehouse Cafe is as close to the island experience as you can find. The food is consistently great with generous portions. The staff are friendly and a little quirky but still professional. I like that breakfast is always available and that there is no deep frying. No grease! Even the side salad is incredibly tasty and you can have... More

This quirky joint in Ganges is truly wrapped around a tree. Staff is friendly, coffee is excellent and the interior is a 'one of a kind'. After a 12 day stay on the Saltspring, I didn't miss a day for coffee at this gem.

We had breakfast here on a recommendation from some locals we met at the market. It literally is a small house built around a tree. It felt like being on vacation in Mexico the way it was set up with fresh air blowing in . I would go back here.

It was a lot of fun to have lunch in this quirky little place, surrounded by a large tree. We really liked the choices for food and beverage, and everything was delicious. But the service was very, very slow. Perhaps this was an off day. I hope so!

(((GREAT))) veggie burger and very fresh delicious salad. Almost too much to eat, but I forced myself! (Oink oink). I will be back next time I am on the island. Very funky little place. ps: They do take out.

Where else can you eat with a tree growing through the middle of the restaurant and out the roof. Obvious to see where the name came from, but no branches to climb all one level on the ground. Went with my adult daughter who is vegan and had a lovely beer, salad and tuna melt type sandwich. Interesting place to... More

You'll love their homemade jam. The "house" itself is very small and busy but the space outside feels relaxing and calm. Always enjoy the food here, breakfast and lunch. The kitchen space is minimal but they take the time necessary to prepare good food and we're ok with that. A perfect vista for people watching in Ganges.

I did not believe it at first when I noticed this restaurant. Built around a giant tree, the Tree House Cafe offers a unique and eclectic ambiance with an impressive dinner menu. We had a blast 'inside the tree',. this is MUST for every visitor to the island. Food: excellent. Service: could be a bit more personable/friendly ...

Love, Love, Love. Breakfast tradition. Sadly could sit here for hours and let time just tick away. Food is so good and lattes with foam that allows your spoon to stand straight up in the cup.

This cute little restaurant with the tree growing out of and around it is a favourite breakfast spot for us when visiting Salt Spring Island. Great made to order food and lattes—you may need to wait a little for the freshly made meal, but it is well worth the wait! Always good, friendly service. The atmosphere is perfectly Salt Spring...
