We ate here on a whim and both reslly enjoyed the baked spaghetti & meatballs. It comes topped with piping hot cheese straight from the oven and definately filled the spot. A quiet Thursday night, but as another review said it certainly has a mafioso feel to it and the smell upon entry was classic! Doesnt look like the picture... More

Went there for birthday dinner third year in a row at the West end location, food used to be good and filling. Had reservations could not accommodate at time as people were still in the party room, they overbooked, so had to wait for a good 1/2 hour. Appetizers were ordered and the pizza bread was thin and tough, got... More

When ever we are hungry for pizza this is the best I would recommend to any family or friends. Whether it be dining in the restaurant or picking up the pizzas, they are great every time. They do not scrimp on any toppings and I've never been hungry after eating their pizzas. Great management that runs the Strathcona restaurant, that... More

At one time, Royal Pizza in Old Stratcona was the place to have pizza. As most things in life though, the type of pizza's we now eat are different and in my opinion, preferable. The products of one of the new chains (I will not mention) are authentic, I am not sure about Royal Pizza. What you order you get... More

Hey! They make great tasting pizza, can't go wrong eating pizza here. I think they're way better that Boston pizza.

I've had pizza who knows where in North America and Europe...honestly, haven't found any that compares with Royal in Edmonton. Family operation that's been around, my first time there about 40 years ago! Many trips since then, always the same quality, same flavor, meaning lots of real, full-fat cheese, generous toppings and excellent sauce and crust, all baked golden brown.... More

We've been going here for years. They put on tons of toppings on the pizza. We always have leftovers. The two poutines are pretty good. I wouldn't bother with the salad as they're mostly lettuce. We eat at the Whyte Ave Royal Pizza whenever we're in the area.

Long time family owned restaurant. Now a senior citizen, I've enjoyed their pizza since I was 16 years old. Lots of real cheese, fresh toppings with a great crust and served hot by friendly servers. Other menu items equally tasty but I always go back for the pizza.

We stumbled across this pizza place years ago and go back whenever we are in the area. It is pretty basic atmosphere-wise, but the pizza is great!
