The food was tasty and presented well. We arrived late and didn't know where to eat so ate in the restaurant near the concierge.
My family and I ate dinner here twice. Everything is great; from the salsas to the appetizers, main courses and desserts, all very good. Over the two nights we tried the sea bass, the snapper, shrimp, and lamb, all of which was excellent. The desserts were also very good, try the churros! The staff is very nice and friendly. We... Good things: 2 for 1 11am to 12 noon for breakfast, 2 for 1 6 to 7 pm for dinner. At least you save some money. They are very accommodating. I brought in my gluten free bread and they would toast them for me. I brought in gluten free pasta for pasta night and chef made special for me. The... More
This restaurant is in Grand Luxxe Tower 1 - the floral scent (probably artificial) is sickening to anyone who comes in contact with it. We went there to eat and had to leave.
We absolutely loved dining at Epazote. The service was AMAZING. Chef Carlos went the extra mile. We ordered the guacamole and it was so fun watching him make it at our table. Our waiter was also wonderful. Fantastic experience--and the perfect end to our trip. We'll be back!

The restaurant is off the lobby of the Grand Luxxe. The environment is opulent. They offer dining inside and out. We chose inside because of the mosquito problem at the resort. This is a... More
This is a fine mexican restaurant where you have flexibility in modifying the menu items. The mole sauce is outstanding. In addition to fine food try the margaritas - these are great.
Epazote is in the Grand Luxe resort. The Mexican food is special and quite good. Special touches, guacamole made at your table, Mexican coffee, and more. It is however, rather expensive.
When we are staying at the Mayan complex, we always make a point of having a dinner or two at Epazote and we have never been disappointed by the food or the service. Our recent visit was special. The restaurant was taking part in the PV/NV gastronomique festival. Visiting chef Betty Vasquez prepared an interesting, varied, and tasty menu [in... More
