Don´t think about it give Banana a try. The food is Argentinian (or that was my impression) but they have a section for chef´s specials that were simply delicious. The service was incredible and everybody was welcoming and the atmosphere was incredible don´t forget your insect repellent since you are in the middle of the jungle
We had the T-bone steak and octopus salad to share. Big portions for sure. Octopus salad was to die for but the steak was so so. 2 glasses of Malbec and a coke. Total of 800 pesos. Comparable pricing with Atlanta. Nice intimate atmosphere, romantic. Wish there were some breeze. Great service but slow, I guess it's just a slower...

Ate breakfast there everyday. The fresh beard and home made jam is excellent. Assorments of fruit are fresh. Diners were generous portions wonderful recipies. Conveniently located. Ambience is great.
the food was good, but not good enough to justify the prices...we live in Switzerland and it was as expensive as here! The other snag is it is situated by the road, and not on the beach, tucked into the trees, which means you are bitten to death by mosquitoes..they do recognise this by providing spray. If you choose to eat...

second time they got the order wrong we had asked for 2 lamb risottos but only got one which we shared, i think possibly this was because we shared...

Absolutely delicious food - the whole grilled fish was the best meal of our trip. The staff are very nice. Shame its not beach-front as the breeze seems to keep the mosquitos away!
Perfectly cooked shrimp and steak, great open-air atmosphere, and a few (but not all) courteous staff members made our meal at Casa Banana a good (albeit a relatively expensive one).
Such a great place, very low lighting nice ambiance, funny waiters and good food. Felt a bit stung when we got the bill as you are encouraged to drink fancy cocktails at high prices.
The steak I had here was delicious. It was quite a bit more expensive than anywhere else we ate in Tulum but it is a really nice setting and the food was so good that it was worth it. Service excellent too.
