There are just way better seafood places in Merida with better price, variety, location, service and flavour I'm afraid to say. I think that once upon a time it was really a place to go for the city's higher class, but it's pretty outdated

Muelle 8 is a wonderful local restaurant filled with Merida's foodies. Like nearby La Pigua, the freshest seafood is brought in each day from the coast. Unlike La Pigua, this restaurant is filled with locals (not tour buses) and the room has great charm. Eat with the locals at Muelle 8 and you will go back for more!
