We've eaten here many times! My favorite is the tortilla soup. More

We always look forward to dining at Pik Nik while vacationing in Cancun. The food is always fresh and delicious with incredible service. Drinks are so good, especially the pina coladas and margaritas. (I think they send their waiters to bar-tending school!!) The guacamole and soups are to die for. And of course, the owner, Luis, has a way of... More

As I always do when travelling internationally, I went looking for a mom and pop type restaurant to experience the local cuisine. I came across PikNik, which is on a small side street in downtown Cancun. I settled into one of the 7 or 8 tables located outside and was greeted by my waiter Jesus. As I usually do when... More

This restaurant is in the middle of the downtown Cancun area. It's kind of a hassle to get there (buses and walking), but it is definitely worth it! The food is cheap, but the portions are generous and the quality is delicious! I think it was actually better than the more expensive buffet that we had in Mexico. I would... More

Went here for dinner one night on our vacation last month based on reviews here. The food was quite good and I got the feeling that it was more authentic than some of the other places we visited. the salsas were very HOT compared to other places and I could only enjoy them in moderation except for the tomatillo one... We were lucky that for our only night in Cancun we came across this restaurant. Very good food, not expensive. The owner Luis is very friendly. A must go. More

Located on a small side street (not labeled of course, but by the Burger King) in downtown Cancun, Pik Nik is a good place for cheap mexican food. Took the bus from the hotel strip for dinner here one night. I ordered some solid fish tacos, but what I remember most was their salsa verde, which I will have to... More

Friendly attentive wait staff. Manager made sure that we were satisfied with our meal. We were. Typical Mexican fare well prepared and at a good value. We will return. More

One of the things I enjoy when we travel is eating the local cuisine and I have discovered the best places to try authentic dishes is by going to the smaller family owned restaurants. Pik Nik offers home style meals that were probably passed down from generation to generation. Our meal started with nachos and a choice of 3 homemade... More

The restaurant is quite good but nothing special. Is located in down town and has a very Mexican feeling. The food was very good and also cheap. I do not think that I can recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner as it is situated on a relatively busy road and people are passing by trying to sell you things,... More
