Walking by I was lured in seeing the big plates of pancakes a large group of American teenagers were devouring. I ordered their Huevos a la Mexicana and returned often in my month long visit for more of the same. Hearty servings at affordable prices! And what a treat for this vegetarian to find such delicious spring rolls in such... More

Loved this place for breakfast, great salads and sandwiches. Waitresses are so attentive and very sweet. Prices are really good. And love the atmosphere.

Full breakfast for 5 USD with unlimited coffee refills. Lovely atmosphere. Only 2 people working though so they were really friendly but running around non-stop. Everyone was trying to get them when they walked by (might have been because of the holiday break) Overall great value for your money!

This place is great for a small, quiet meal. Everything from tortas (sandwiches) to enchiladas to salads. The service is very fast and friendly, and the wifi is great too!

Great food and they are flexible if you want a dish prepared slightly differently. Great place to either dine at or just drink coffee eat deserts and toil away with a laptop. my Spanish is mediocre at best but they had a friendly young waiter there who spoke English which was very nice for someone as picky about their meals... In pretty courtyard, great for high quality breakfasts or lunch. All the usual Mexican favourites for breakfast, but cooked well with good ingredients. Friendly staff who are happy to give you little extras without charging (unusual in my experience in Mexico) and interesting lighter dishes for lunch that aren't found elsewhere. Worth checking out.

We have Cafe los Cuiles. A fun, certainly-happening spot. We enjoyed a big meal here. Service was lacking, but the food was good. Nothing outstanding but tasty enough.

Scrambled eggs with ham, coffee and fruit salad were all excellent. Refried beans were mediocre. Service was friendly, attentive and fast. Loved the ambience, too, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Great value with more food than you can eat for 50-60 pesos.

You can get breakfast for 35 pesos in many places, but for just over a dollar more, the breakfast at Cafe los Cuiles, for 50 pesos, includes a mixed fruit plate or juice, eggs the way you want them, add chorizo, bacon or ham for 10 pesos, good crunchy crusted round bread and really strong hearty coffee, served by a... Spent an hour here in the mid-afternoon, taking a break from the busy streets of Oaxaca’s central historico. Had coffee with kahlua, an organic spinach salad and chicken enchiladas with black mole. It was all good and reasonably priced.
