The outside terrace/patio is what first attracted me to this restaurant. A little bit off the beaten track but the food and price was good. They also have an inside garden area for dinning as well.

We have had wonderful meals here on two occasions. Luckily we stay in this end of town so it is nearby. If you are staying near the Jardin Union or in the west end you will want to take a taxi. Try the Yucatan dishes.
México Lindo y Sabroso is a lovely place to enjoy traditional dishes from many regions of Mexico. The wait staff are efficient and friendly, and the setting is lovely and relaxed. Priced well for a leisurely, well prepared meal. Enjoy!
This past of the city is missed by most visitors and that is a shame. The area is quieter than centro with lovely parks and wonderful architecture. The restaurant has 3 tables on the front balcony and many others in a courtyard.
The restaurant is a meeting place for family celebrations and we saw gatherings of at least 3 generations....

This was a small Spanish style house with the rooms circling a center garden area. The area of town is different than Centro, as the architecture was influenced by some French Architects that one of the Mexican Presidents brought over to design this area of Guanajuato.
The food is unique with local meats, and some meals from different areas of...

It is a simple unpretentious restaurant but they serve good food. It is located at a 15 minute walk from downtown, just in front of Palacio del Gobierno, in La Presa area. They serve both Yucatán and local specialties, mainly meat. The quality of the food is very high. I went twice, once I had cecina (thin beef steak) and...

Beautiful place set in what looks like it was a house before. Fast service. The red pozole and the arrachera were delicious - the salsa they give you with corn chips and chicharron at the beginning might prove to be spicy for some. It was a nice little relaxing spot close to the state government offices and the hotel Maria...

Mexico Lindo y Sabroso offers a wide variety of Mexican dishes that you won't find anywhere else in Guanajuato, but it falls just a bit short in authentic flavors which you'll find in other Mexican cities. Most of the dishes are very rich, and so it's not the kind of food you'd want to eat on a regular basis. Two...

Lovely typical but nicer than average Mexican restaurant, with tables outside street side and in the lovely courtyard.
Good service, very good food, priced accordingly.
I love to eat there alone, peaceful and enjoyable.
Outside the center: has free parking, and right next to a park and the Presa de la Olla, a water reserve, so it's a convenient stop...

My wife and I loved this place. The pozole was superb. Word of caution: the salsa is very spicy. For dessert we had corn ice cream served in corn husk! Definitely a repeater.
