Porto di Mare has reopened this past season under the same ownership of Daniel's, both located on the Pescadore walkway. The ambiance & decor delightful. Food fit for foodies. Attentative service. Two of our favorite servers in town, Agustin & Arturo. As owners of hotel La Villa Playa la Ropa, we happily recommend Porto di Mare to our guests and... More

Not the best restaurant in town, but it's a nice location and the food is good. Good, not great. The prices are high for the area. We had a party of 4, 3 of us had pasta and one of us had the fresh tuna. The portions were good on the pasta dishes, and they were pretty tasty. The fish... More

Thank you Carlos for looking after us so well the couple of time we went there. Only open in the season so staff have to find other jobs for the rest of the year - remember that when you tip and be generous. excellent service and freshly cooked to order food. Great location for people watching. Near to tyhe Zocolo... More

Great food! Great Service! This is my first visit to Zihua and I was happy to find this restaruant by accident. It is located on the north end of the sea walk between the basketball court and the navy station. Right where they pull up all the fishing skiffs for the night. The basketball court serves as more or less... More

Outstanding warm, professional service. None of the hustle associated with restaurants on Paseo del Pescador. Lots of variety--seafoods, fish, Mexican-style steaks.

What else can I say - Arturo who works as the bar is such a character, he taught my huband a spanish word everyday (yes we dropped in every night for a drink or two!) Arturo remembers EVERYONE! True from a previous post: "visit once and return again and he will great you by name" Just a great fun, safe... More

We visited this restaurant with friends at their recommendation. Unfortunately for us, it didn't live up to our expectations. First of all the waiter got our drinks order mixed up. We ordered a Caesar Salad between the two of us and were appalled at just how small the portion was - three small lettuce leaves each. One of our friends... More

We discovered Porto di Mare for the first time on our return visit to Zihuatanejo. The service was very friendly and the food was wonderful. The menu stood out for us with its creativity. Our favourite meal was a seafood platter for two that was simply grilled but so fresh.
