I've visited the Sports Saloon (more than once) on all three of my trips to Mazatlan and WILL be back on future travels! They are located conveniently in the heart of the Golden Zone (across from the Dairy Queen) which is a bonus! They have some amazing happy hour (3-6 pm) specials on buckets of beers and have a great... More

We made our annual trip to Mazatlan again and had to stop at the Saloon as it was so awesome last time we were there. We weren't disappointed. I tried something new on the menu. It was a Tropical Ceviche. It had mango, pineapple peppers red onion and cooked shrimp....just the right amouny of spiciness. It was delicious. More like... More

I was sailing up from Banderas Bay to Mazatlan and as it would occur on these long overnite trips my thoughts turned to food. I had eaten poutine in the Saloon on one other occasion and for some reason( generally memory of something good) I was craving that poutine again. I got back to Maz and at the first available... Stopped in twice this trip early afternoon not much going on ,but I had to try this drink I heard about here. The "CEASAR" was very good I think it's the Canadian version of a bloody mary with vodka instead of beer. The free phone call is a great option as well.I will need to try the food next time.

Had a great evening at The Saloon on St Patrick's Day. Great food, drinks and entertainment. Robert and Diane again put on a great show. Robusto

This is with out a doubt one of the best kept secrets in all of Mazatlan. We ate at the Saloon about 5 or 6 time during our two week stay and never had a bad meal or a bad tempered waiter. I love their Coco shrimp and those delightful little potato wraps OMG. Sorry mom but your potatoes were... More

This is a quick review to inform the patrons in Mazatlan that St Patricks Day is being celebrated at The Saloon Sports Bar today starting at 3pm through to 9pm, and it includes all your favourite irish dishes, namely Corn Beef and cabbage, Irish Stew, green beer, and karaoke, so you can sing along with the music. At this establishment... More

After 15 years of vacationing in Mazatlan we still have not found a better place to eat and enjoy sports events than the Saloon in the golden zone, across from dairy queen. 10 satellite tv's to catch all the games and food to die for. You must try their potato wraps, unique and unbelievable. An order of coco shrimp is... More

I'm not at all into Sports Bars, but I read an article in The Pacific Pearl (be sure to pick up a copy of this free paper when you get to town) about the two Canadian ex-pats who opened this place. When it mentioned they served poutine - a dish I've never had but read about I had to go.... More

if you want to pay Canadian prices and feel like you are in a small bar from back home, this is the place for you. We went to catch a Jets Game, and there was gambling poker in front of the screens. The waiter was rushed and not much rapport. It was the three of us's least favorite restaurant after... More
