Went to visit this restaurant because of reviews, however a litle bit disapointed in food quality, we did have chans rolls as appetizer, not bad but bare in mind big portion, then we did have a coconut chicken which was very sweet and garnished with sherries ..... a little look warm, also a sichuan shrimp that was good choice. The Chinese food here is very good. My advice: order HALF ORDERS! The regular orders are HUGE. It is not expensive if you order half orders, the complaints you see about price are for those who ordered regular size dishes which does quickly add up. The waiters were very friendly and accommodating to some of our requests. Restaurants inside is... More

It's obvious from the moment you walk into Chan's that this is a family-operated business. Pride of ownership is noticeable in every aspect of the restaurant from being greeted at the door by the owner himself to the stellar service and the kitchen's willingness to prepare food that you will love. Gourmet Chinese cuisine prepared with top-quality ingredients and attention... More

I was extremely disappointed after having heard that Chan was the best Chinese restaurant in Tijuana. We ordered a feast for 3. The portions were huge, but the food was ordinary except for the duck that was fairly tasty. The sweet and sour shrimp were inedible, doused in a very unatural looking syrupy concoction. I would never go back.

This place has the best Chinese food in the region (including Southern California). It is Hong Kong style place. The food is excellent, as well as the service. The place is always looked after by the owner or his family. It is located in the nicer part of Tijuana only 10 minutes from the border. There is private parking with... More

The food is ok, but in general the restaurant is a little bit overrated and expensive. Elegant, fancy place great for special moments/celebrations.

Having spent a great deal of time in TJ, this is may be the only "finer" Chinese restaurant in town. It is definitely pricey compared to the numerous take out places and buffet joints (easy to spend $15-20 per person on food only), but also a whole different zip code in terms of food quality and service. In simple terms,... More

I have been to Chan's Cuisine several times, while visiting Tijuana. Service was always good; but food, according to me is really good, tasty Cantonese Food. It's not too fancy, but I enjoyed visiting the restaurant every time I would go to Tijuana on business trips.
