Good food music some nights. Must call ahead to order food and check for availability. The sweet and sour conch was great as well as the ribs.

Had a great time at Da Smoke Pot. We enjoyed conch and fried chicken with potato salad and rice. Julian and his band then taught everyone how to rake and scrape with the saw and had everyone dancing the night away.

Great music, fun learning how to play. I'm getting my own saw now. The rib meat feel of the bones. Delicious . Thanks, Julian for showing us your music

This is an essential part of any cat island journey, spending the evening in the excellent company of Julian and his wife at the Da Smoke Pot. We were treated to some wonderful seafood (I had fried shrimp and my girlfriend had conch). Julian was great company, interested in our story and thoughts of cat island, and also has a... More

Da Smoke Pot is unmissable on Cat Island - Julian is a true showman and his wife prepares absolutely delicious Bahamian treats. I had sweet and sour shrimp which I LOVED and my husband had the best grouper he had ever tasted on Cat. Then we all got a chance to try playing the saw in Julian's Rake n Scrape... More

All I can say is you have to go here. The food was very good, and the drinks went down even better. We are still singing the local music. See you next year.

We visited Da Smoke Pot twice during our stay on Cat Island. Great food cooked by Renee - we can highly recommend the lobster, the fish and the combo. Julian is a fabulous host, super friendly, remembers everyone's names and encourages you to pick up the saw and screwdriver and play along with the rake and scrape band (what cool... More

What a great experience at Da Smoke Pot on Cat Island! We sampled a little of everything… ribs, fish, conch fritters, and some wicked Bahama Mamas. Everything was excellent. And Julian – the main man - is the BEST. You rock, you rake and you scrape. Yum yum mon.

We just got back from Cat Island and by far our most memorable and delicious meal was at Da Smoke Pot! We just wish we had had another opportunity to go there and try some other dishes. Julian is a great host and entertainer! Renee, his wife, is a great cook! And, what's not to enjoy about "Rake and Scrape"... More
