I live on the island and frequent this place for lunch as it produces DELICIOUS food - however yesterday I had an encounter that could have gone bad. I had placed my order and stressed the fact that I couldn't have any sauces or condiments on my sandwich (it's an allergy) and after paying and waiting, they returning back to... More

This little bisto is tucked away in the Shirley Street Shopping Plaza a mile or so east of Nassau town. The restaurant recently renovated to accommodate a few more tables so customers can now 'dine in' with the comfort of air conditioning. Le Petit Gourmet does a fair portion of their sales through take-outs, but dining in is also a... More

Good freshly made food. Something different everyday. Portions on the small side, if you are really hungry. Quality is very good. Freshly baked bread and yummy breakfasts on Saturdays. When it is busy you will have to queue to place your order. Best to order ahead. Seating available with limited tableside service.

The owner is French Canadian and has the french amenities like croissants. The staff is friendly. Things are a little expensive though.

I tried this restaurant for a takeout lunch today. It is an interesting menu but a bit pricey for everyday lunch. I ordered one of the daily specials and sat to wait. After I had been there about 10 minutes no food had come out of the kitchen for anyone and yet there were a number of customers waiting to... More

This small local eatery's cuisine can't really be described, for their menu changes every day. Seriously. Regulars get sent an e-mail every morning, listing the different options for lunch. Could be Bahamian, Greek, Indian - or anything else. That means, the food is always fresh, but more importantly, it's usually very yummy. For the creatures of habit, there's a few... More

My wife and I popped in for a nice breakfast as she needed a treat. She does not have a big appetite so she ordered a one egg omelette with tomato and cheese. I ordered egg salad on a baguette; we both had coffee and she had an orange juice. The food was clearly made to order and was very... More

I never have time to go to lunch so my trip to Le Petit was a little different than the normal visitor. It was my mother's anniversary and of course I knew she would never go out..she's so hard to please because she is a n excellent cook herself! But I remembered Le Petit has frozen meals to go that... I happened upon this little café and it’s now one of my favourite places to have lunch in Nassau. My friends are wild about the Double Chocolate Cookies and I just can’t get enough of the Carrot Coconut Muffins. There is a different muffin every day and the specials menu also changes daily. The sandwiches are just fab, and you... More
